    I think i located the problem.
    I had a look at the machine again and removed the motor harness the plug that connects to the motor two of the pin were short circuiting where the plastic motor plug had melted.

    I have replaced this plug with one from a scrap machine
    I have a bit of difficulty puting the top back on the plug i just pushed it into place with a pair of pliers but It doesnt seem very strong a hard pull and i think it would come off

    The brushs still have about 1/2 an inch left on them. When i turn the motor by hand one way its smooth. When i turn the opposite way it seems to have a little rattled
    I metered the motor again The coils seem and the armature have a low readings
    but i now have a dead short between yellow and black

    Zanussi F1245w motor fits 89 different Zanussi models. Model FJ1296 is not one of them from the information i have
    What is a PNC number?

    I replaced the doorlock and the machine started to smoke like mad so binned it

    it runs thought the program fine but at the end of the program the water is pumped out but the drum will not spin. and the cycle finishes normally. Leaving the cloths wet.

    It will not spin i have checked the brushes the connections the sump hose and which are all fine

    It just a temp repair to see if the PCB still works
    the circuit board has blow a track which i have repaired
    I
    So do i just join the Live and common together

    The program ready light blinks and the program end light blinks

    Also what is a Configuration

    I just put in a new module I took a photo of the old one but the photo is not showing the end terminals which sit on top of the board They are colour coded
    One block has a green line the other has a purple line and one is a signal red
    the part number of the PCB is 546033801
