I’ve finally got the motors to work properly by wiring the interlock in various ways until the machine worked properly.

The configuration that seems to work, in case someone finds it useful, is as follows:

Pole 2 —- Orange (Wire from circular diaphragm looking device)
Pole 3 —- Brown (Wire from main live feed)
Pole 1 —- White (Wire from programmer/wafer switch assy)

Having shut the door to test the operation I am now back where I started in the first place.
The machine appears to operate but the door cannot be released ! 👿

1)What else influences the door operation?

2)What is that circular diaphragm looking device, some sort of contactor?

I’ve just had a look at the packets these parts came in:
Door Interlock 069639 (JUST LIKE YOU SAID)
Door Catch 069637 (This ones got a metal hook, more robust)

Wish I knew the correct colour wiring set-up, can the interlock be damaged by connecting it the wrong way?
