Sorry for delay in posting, got sorted last week.
It was a blockage in rubber pipe connected to the pressure switch. I blew down it, felt a blockage, blew harder and then heard bubble sounds as air blew thro.
Works fine, it may happen again as lot of lime scale around but at least I will know what to do.
    Many thanks for your help.

Bought new pressure switch, exactly te same as old one. 3 terminals on switch but only outer two are used. Terminals normally connected but go open circuit when tube blown into.
Fitted and no change. On every cycle the machine fills then immediately empties ans shows A5 fault.
Bit at a loss, any ideas welcome.
I read something about circulation pump capacitor coud be faulty, not sure where it is or how to test, have replaced circulation pump, would the capacitor be part of this?

Checked continuity of circulation pump and it was good. But replaced it anyway with the original pump which also had good continuity. Still drains immediately after filling.
Now purchasing a pressure sensor, but not very hopeful.

    Thanks, that’s interesting.
I have decided to focus on circulation pump since at the point it goes to drain and error is normally when I would expect the circulation pump to first start. The pump which I fitted with the replacement heater came from a machine which had a fault that was never solved. Will check continuity but a real pain to get dishwasher out and on its side, always water everywhere.
