Just to update on this. It was a weak pump that caused this. replaced with a new one from here (excellent service from parts department).
All now running okay.
Thanks again

Thanks for the quick reply.
Checked the impellor – seems okay – no lateral movement and is firm on it’s spnidle.
Impellor turns freely with a twang (I guess as it passes the magnets)

Hi There,
Thanks for the reply.
I disconnected from mains, Removed sump hose and checked it out – no obstructions in the hose, drum or the Pressure chamber tube.
I then got a bucket and put the outlet hose into it.
On 30 minute drying cycle. Machine pumps out water approx. every minute or so for about 10 seconds. Whilst it does this I can hear a syphoning sound from the soap drawer and I get bubbles in the bucket. It started by pumping out just under a litre every minute.
Then after a while it started punping less water out until eventually I could hear the pump rumble but no syphoning sound from the soap drawer and no water / air coming out the outlet hose.
Drum eventually filled with water and the machine stopped and beeped F04.
I turned the selector to drain and the machine emptied about 5 litres of water out.
So I’m guessing that the pump is taking it’s time to get started and on drying it cuts out after 10 seconds before it has started pumping any quantity of water out. Whereas on drain it has a minute so it gets started and eventually pump the water out?
I checked the impellor and it turns okay and there is no obstruction in the inspection chamber / drain.
Is there anything else to check or should I just replace the pump?
Thanks in advance Paul

ParticipantRe: Bosch WVF2000 – Trips Breaker on 1000 Spin
There’s no apparent sparking coming from the motor.
Also, the breaker doesn’t trip when there is no washing in the machine!I changed the brushes about a year ago but will check them and look at the wiring harness.
Thanks for your suggestions
