    Re: Hotpoint WM64

I checked the pressure switch their are five wires going to the switch one from the interlock one from the element and three white wires going to the PCB.
I notice two are closed circuit and go open circuit with pressure
two are open circuit and go close circuit with pressure
one white wire does not do anything could their be a problem with this switch?

    Re: Hotpoint WM64

Am i right in thinking the two following statments correct
If the element was down it would just stay on the wash part of the program.
If the thermistor was down in will heat the water to hot or sense water has reached right temperature when it hasn’t
The machine is acting as the Economy button in pressed
The wires from the Economy button go to the PCB they are making a connection because i checked for continuity from the tracks on the PCB.
    Will a PCB from a WM 63 fit a WM 64

Have you pressed the Economy Button by mistake?

No i Have not pressed Economy Button. The button is closed circuit when in the cancel position, and goes open circuit when Economy is selected.
I think the program is seeing all cycles as Economy cycles Would a PCB/program from a Hotpoint Aqurius 1100 WM63 fit a WM64

    Re: integrated appliance

Not been very clear I was unable to higher the door to the right height because the door has already been drilled for the previous machine and the new holes which needed drilling would have over lapped the previous holes.

    Bob.

If i did this the tops of the doors would line up. But the bottom of the doors will not. The template is designed so if their is a gap above the machine just to higher the door but if this is done the bottoms of the door will not align.

    Re: integrated appliance

Their is a template with the instructions which is the same size as the front of the machine. The template has markings to show the positioning of the hinges.
it tells you to measure the gap above the machine so if it is 2 inches too lower the template on the door my two inchs then drill holes for the hinges. but if you do this the bottom of the cabinets will not line up because the door will be higher.
The sides of the machine are in full contact with the side cabinets not 1 millimeter spare i tried even greasing the sides of machine to help it side in.

    Re: integrated appliance

I tried that with the timber but it kept on jamming halfway so ended you removing the timber and leaving a 2 inch gap
I think the only way its going to fit is by removing the side cabinet fitting the machine in then replacing back the side cabinet.

Re: Hoover wdm120 Washer Dryer rattle

I have added a bead of silicon under the concert blocks and also on the plastic installation tags on the heater unit.
This has got rid of most of the rattling.
    Thanks
