ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WMA32
I had a look at the PCB and have notice that i have a blown component looks like a surface mount transistor on the same track as the neutral feed for the interlock. Do anyone know where i can obtain this component form?
Also are these the correct instructions for the configuration of a new PCB?paulwma
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF560 Problems
Check the door catch.
Try also loosening the screws a little, holding the interlock in place. I have notice sometimes that if you over tighten them the lock doesn’t work.paulwma

ParticipantRe: White Knight 38AW rubbing noise
I had another look at the tumble dyer, I believe the broken clip that i am holding should have been attached to the heater box to hold the drum centre.
Do any one know where i can obtain this partpaulwma

ParticipantRe: Hoover washing machine door not locking
When you close the door will it catch? or can you pull the door open again without pushing the handle if so you have inserted the catch the wrong way around.
When the door is open and you push the handle down does the catch move?
Also you might have done the screws to tight holding the interlock in place try loosening the two screws but not too lose so the lock moves.
I think the problem is with the door catch not the interlock.paulwma

Had a look the machine has a sole motor fitted.
Just wondering if this machine has an out of balance function?
It will start to spin then stop rotate a few time then try to spin again then stop again.paulwma

ParticipantRe: Washing machine drums
I am in the trade I use to work for a local company selling washing machine parts and I also repaired machines about 15 years ago, I did this for about one year. More recently within the last two year I worked for a local charity refurnishing washing machine tumble dryers and Electric cookers.
I have now started self employment.paulwma
