Thanks for your reply.
The E no is V4280G1GB/01, the model No is given on the Neff web site for that E No.
I’m hoping that it is fixable (Engineer coming to look at dryer part – see http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=19115), the advice is just in case it cannot be sorted (it is a case of being prepared!).

It may look ok but a test with a multimeter will confirm.
Off the top of my head I would expect a reading anywhere from 20-30 ohmsGreg

Beginning to look complex for a layman. Definitely worth an Engineer to look at it.

ParticipantGreg – many thanks.
The replaced item was Part No 032604 “limiter-temperature” which has a red reset button – unfortunately made no difference.
The dryer fan appears to be working OK and the heater looks intact.
I will try stripping down the dryer manifold (first disconnecting the power!) and remove any blockage – if I have any difficulty with this I will get an Engineer to do it.

ParticipantShould have added that it is E No V4280G1GB/01 and model No GD5062.11, if they help.
