Oh, sorry, you replied before I posted the picture! So that is the drain pump. Ok.

We didn’t get any lights flashing when it was all connected up. So it’s worth getting the capacitor checked on the wash motor (the OTHER pump?). That’s great, thank you – I will take it to my friend and get him to check it! I will get back to you when that’s done (might be a day or two)

Oh and thanks for the tip on how to tip the machine over!! Whoops!! Hopefully I’ve not hurt it! 😳

    Hi Iadom

That’s a great reply, thank you. At least I know I’m not looking for a valve now! I can’t say that I’ve heard any buzzing.

I currently have the machine laid on its front, bottom panel off. I took the big motor off – which pump is that, circulation or wash pump? My electrician friend said he will test things for me, but clearly I have no idea what I’m looking at!! If that big one is one pump, is the other pump the smaller one I have also disconnected? That one has like a 4 bladed red fan affair on it and it seems to turn ok by hand, not sure if that means it’s ok or not.

Sorry for sounding like a complete numpty but when it comes to this, that’s what I am!!

Really appreciate your help with this, thanks.
