Wow 15 years and my LG WM14440TDS is still going strong! Hope if it ever does die I can get another just as reliable.

Yay new LG machine arrived 7.30am and it’s much better now I don’t have one with a dodgy panel. Got the foam in place and some rolled up carpet for good measure! 😆 Seems to have done the trick. Thanks 😀

    Hi there

Thanks very much for your replies. The suggestion about stopping vibration is going to come in very handy indeed, thanks goose-62.:D After speaking to the manager at Comet he told me I had to have another one the same anyway, otherwise it would have to be referred through the insurance company which provided me with this one. I do really like the LG machine apart from the vibration and I happen to have some spare foam so will be shoving some in between my worktop and machine when it arrives (hopefully tomorrow!). In the past I’ve been shoving bits of rolled up carpet between the gap!

Will definitely be getting the machine insured again through Domestic & General so I’m covered if anything does go wrong.

    Scandinova FF6745D Frost Free

    Hi Dave

I’ve had the fridge switched on for a day now (having had it off for two) and all seems well. The back of the freezer inside did make a lot of noise yesterday, sort of rattling, but has stopped now. I put it on number 4 setting (goes up to 7) and the temp was -20 this morning but it has now gone up to -15 even though the freezer is practically empty. Have turned the freezer dial up a bit and hope that the temperature doesn’t keep rising.

Whilst cleaning away the cat fur gathered at the back!.. I noticed that there are two round black things one says Danfross compressor 6630 NL Y6F suction connector and the other says ZEM GL35AH R134a…do you know please if this means I have a dual compressor fridge freezer? Thanks very much.
