Why… are they known for gas leaks….. had been working fine … in fact the fidge part was probably the best i’ve had….. hiting the right temperture around 3 or 4 on the stat…
The latest update on it is that the stat won’t turn it off now at all, and i’m haveing to use a time switch so that i dont loose the food, although the temp is not as low as it should be….. also plenty of humming comeing from the pipes?

Thanks for that, do you think the compressor has suffered any damage that would make it not worth replaceing the stat….. it did get rather ” hot”
