Re: indesit iwdd7143 f13 thermostat test?

    Thanks.

I thought if solved it. It seemed to run alright for a while after cleaning the fan.

But now fully rebuilt and it’s done an f13 again and now an f15 too! And makes a whiny noise that sounds like the fan.

I’ll try to have another word with it when i get time.

Can the fan/motor be tested while dismantled do you think?

And is there a proper way in to clean the condenser area?

    Thanks.

Now dismantled (1 of the torx was particularly awkward but i got there)

I’m reading 19.87 ish on the 20k setting on my meter which suggests the thermostat is ok, right?

    Can’t see any worn wires.

There is a lot of lint on the fan so I’ll give that a clean.

    Thanks.

Yes i went back to my local big appliance shop this aft and i could see the plastic bottom in some of the series 2 full size models but not in the slimline.

So now I’m just left pondering whether to go for entry level or upgrade a bit.

    Re: Dishwasher Buying advice please

    Hi,

Hope it’s Ok to tag onto this thread.

I’m looking to get a new dishwasher. I need Slimline freestanding myself.

People on here do seem to think Bosch are reasonably good quality right?

I’m particularly intrigued by the advice above to go for their Series 4 or higher. I was looking at their entry level model sps40e32gb (I think) which I understand to be in their Series 2 and I couldn’t see any evidence of the main compartment having a plastic base (which would seem like a bad idea). Does the advice to go for Series 4 and above still apply and apply to these Slim-FS models do you know.

Generally I’d probably prefer not to go over £400. Any other advice and suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks.
