    The problem cured itself, I’m glad to say. Your message has reminded me to sort some extra warranty, just in case. I’d be interested to know how you get on though.

    Thanks for the reply. Can you help with the following please:
    1. What does NTC stand for please?
    2. Where are sensors located, and how do I test them? I have a multimeter etc.

    ps I’ve just given the Condenser (behind the detachable front panel below the freezer compartment) a clean with the hoover (it was dusty, but I’m guessing not the cause of the problem?).
