    Dishwasher now fixed! I discovered these fabulous people (via eBay):

    They test and fix PCBs. I sent them our PCB and got it back fixed for just over £50 – bargain! Dishwasher now perfect again. Many thanks for your help which put me on the right track.

    Thanks for your reply Penguin45. The E-nr is SE6TIE1GB/29. The FD number is 8210. Other numbers etched on door top are Typ S9W1TI and 88027. We reseated all the connectors, which did, however seem firm in the first place. The machine has been in operation for 5 years, does that make a dry joint unlikely or could it take so long to show up?
