A new motor has fixed the fault although it was half the price of a new machine.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It’s a brushless motor but I can’t get any resistance readings from it, ther are 3 thin cables and 2 heavier ones which I assume are the motor supply, I connect 240v to these but nothing happened. I expect the 3 thin cables are for speed control.
I may order a new motor as I can’t find anything else wrong (they are around £150 🙁 )

    Hi
Replaced the circuit board with reconditioned one from http://www.emwelec.co.uk/ and the machine now works fine.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
We have tried it lots of times with different loads and also with no clothes in the machine and it does the same thing. Do you know where the balance sensor is? can it be bypassed?
    Thanks
    Peter
