    Ended up calling in an engineer. He said the belt was undamaged, and he got the dryer going, and working OK. Unfortunately after a few minutes the belt worked its way off the spindles. The engineer said he did not understand how the spindles could have got misaligned, and that he does not know how to fix the problem. 😕

    Any ideas please?

    Thaks very much – I’ve ordered the part, and will post update when I have fitted it.
