Thanks again spimps. You do mean the thermistor is at the top inside of the fridge, behind the plastic panel near the fan? You don’t happen to have the part number of the thermistor so I could do a search for it?

Thanks for the info spimps. So there is a motorised baffle in the refrigeration tubes. Is the thermistor located behing the fridge rear plastic panel? If it’s a low cost item I may try replacing it. Why does ice begin to form in an older fridge?

I did have the part number but omitted it as I thought the washer model would be more relevant to most people. I have added it now as it’s no doubt the more technically minded of us that may be able to help me. The Control Module part number is 546031301
Probably the same part as the part number 546031300 number posted by suedehead above?

Well, I have the same model & problem. It’s the control module at fault, I’ve heard that they are unreliable. A new module costs £80+ new which just isn’t worth buying.
