    Thanks Greg

Pardon my ignorance but what is “comstick”?

    Thanks Greg

I got the motor out. In general the commutator looks ok.
About 5 consecutive segments have signs of increased wear
( the edges are more worn out with a bit of discoloration)

There is almost 2 cm of the carbon left on each brush.

    Would cleaning the commutator help?

Thank you for the speedy response

Just checked for the drum line-up/movement, seems ok.
What would you use to lubricate the bearing?

How likely it is for the temperature sensor to give false reading, or the just fail and do not read anything?
