I got the motor out. In general the commutator looks ok.
About 5 consecutive segments have signs of increased wear
( the edges are more worn out with a bit of discoloration)There is almost 2 cm of the carbon left on each brush.
Would cleaning the commutator help?

Thank you for the speedy response
Just checked for the drum line-up/movement, seems ok.
What would you use to lubricate the bearing?How likely it is for the temperature sensor to give false reading, or the just fail and do not read anything?
