ParticipantRighto – I got a new element and fitted it this morning – and no joy… 🙁 oven still doesn’t heat up.
Maybe I should just get a new oven……. ?
So I’ve got a new AHY3610 element for sale if anyone wants one… £15 inc postage! 🙂

ParticipantHi Guys
I’ve had a chance to get the oven out and check the ACTUAL model number and it is AHY3610 in which case the above link to the element would fit… ?
I don’t have access to a multimeter – but since the oven has completely died now, I guess it would be safe to presume it is the element….?
How much would a thermal cutout be and which one would it be if I needed to get it?
Many thanks again everyone!

ParticipantHi chap – before I go ordering the element is there anything I can check to make sure that it is in fact the element and not anything else? Could it be anything else or some other part?
Cheers

ParticipantThank you gents – I’ll see if there is an easy way to slide the oven out of the fitted unit and check on the side.
Kwatt – the oven controls offer the option to cook (using the oven, not grill) on the top, bottom or both of the oven areas. That’s what makes me think that there may be more than one element. However – the oven doesn’t heat up on any of these settings at all – Making me think there is only one element….. and it uses some kind of voodoo to only heat up specific areas of the oven (i.e top or bottom…)

ParticipantRe: Diplomat AHY36 (620) oven – not heating – element proble
I’ve had a look at the oven, but can’t seem to find anywhere where a may be showing the exact model number.
It’s a full electric oven and positive its the AHY3601…
Cheers

ParticipantI’m quite positive it’s AHY3601 but will check in an hour when I get home.
When you say “fan oven element” – how many elements do these ovens have (excluding grill)?
Thanks
