yes, i had three fractured solder joints on the smaller relay, very hard to find as there was no discolouration, resoldered, works perfectly again, actually better than it ever did, many thanks

ParticipantOk, wish i had a magnifying glass, but i think i’ve found it, i will confirm when i resolder but i think i have 2 fractured solder joints on the smaller relay, i can just make out movement when i wiggle relay in the form or a hairline crack all the way around, finger crossed, i will let you know asap, many thanks Rob

ParticipantHi, i have exactly the same problem, i favour zanussi normally but its been my worst ever dishwasher and looking back i think it started going downhill from new. DCE 5655. Pcb appears fine, i have same reading across the 2 terminals on the heater, well, 51.2. its basically continuity which i think is correct hence heater body wires being thick and solid to take the generated heat from being in a joined circuit (if you know what i mean) I think thats right anyway. Does your heater have same continuity across the 2 terminals ? HELP Please Anyone
