ParticipantCheers guys will look at the machine again , yes it only spins for about 5 seconds then stops spinning, gerenally when its owrking it would spin for 10mins on the final spin.
So looks like i could be looking at carbon brushes, PCB or motor fault,

no i dont htink the clothes have been coming out wetter than normal – however just 20mins before the fault happended

Participantok thanks – do you reckon the issue im having can be worn carbon brushes as your saying worn brush motor which i belive is something else?

Hi, i wasnt around but im told he spent 30mins, phone his local store which rang Bosch and they said £150ish for the pcb + labour
How do i tell if it has a brush motor – suppose im going to have to open it and have a look – no harm as it not working anyway – would this not be a symptom of carbon brushes which arecirca £3-4
