    Hi there.

Sorry I didn’t update this as was a few month after the post I managed to get it sorted. Turns out it was a wiring issue at the back of the oven where it is connected to the mains… ( the oven was fitted by an electrician which is why I didn’t question it at the time ). Obviously there is 3 cables which go into the back of the oven but the power must be split by metal contacts to power both, hence why only 1 of our ovens worked properly. Check the back of your oven and make sure it is wired Exactly like the diagram and that the metal/copper contacts which if memory serves me correctly are a kind of M shape are in the correct place and making good contact. I know it sounds like it wouldn’t be an issue like that but after doing this ours has worked no problem ever since. Thanks

Also just noticed that when I switch between oven settings the amber temp light flickers on for a sec but only when the thermostat is off. I then tried it with the thermostat set to a temperature but get nothing at all… don’t know if this helps any diagnosis.

Thanks for the reply, I couldn’t see if the switch was burnt or not and didn’t want to take it apart from fear of losing track of connections. After looking up the switch you mentioned it seems like a common fault so just ordered a new main oven switch as wasn’t too expensive and received it today but after fitting its the exact same. Nothing in the oven working apart from the blower just above the oven which fires up when either oven is on. So confused now as can’t think of anything else. Thanks once again for taking the time to reply but is their any other ideas before I give up on this…
