Hello again…

This dishwasher is about 20 years old…it has been working fine until now. The salt and rinse aid setting were set up as per the instruction booklet and all has been well from day one.

The thing that has changed is that the salt is now hardly being used at all. So my guess is that in the absense of waer softening the limescale is being deposited on both the dishware and the inside of the machine.

This leads me to think that the salt is not being used correctly.

Is salt dispensed into the machine? or does water just flow through the salt container?

Tried the vingar test and it seems to clear the glass.

Tried a search on the other word…but that didn’t yield any results 🙁

Hi! Thanks for the speed of your response 🙂

I can confirm that filters are clean, and that spray arms are functioning correctly.

This is a white film. On glass it will clear when you wet it but reappears as the glass dries.
