I was told that Whirlpool modified there PCB’s and that you could not just change one PCB module..this was only on the Earlier models though.

Hi, Take panel off check for usual faults…I.E- wet insulation, defrost probs and the like…. if no probs. reposition Evap sensor to suction transfer pipe…like the RS21’s Also the newer models have neat little isulated wings that clip into position…Obviously a quick mod by samsung!

I am presuming there is a relay on the top pcb in fridge ceiling, because when i fitted new PCB comp started up and was switching normally except at 10 degrees in fridge?

any chance of a copy of the deawoo service info please, I seen my second one in two years last week…fixed it OK but would like to know more info.
Also has anybody got any rangemaster SXS service info…am still waiting for rangemastr to email me …Hmmmn! dont think that will happen.

I have seen a few of these and have noticed the fans run slow almost polling! even to the point that the blade rocks as if stuck between fields…Stick a whilpool encapsulated frost free motor on and you wont see this happen again…refcol

I always use a neon after the appliance i was working on had no earth through the plug lead and a bared live touching the case and whilst pulling it out I touched another apliance that was earthed…did i have a surprise! so now i always use a neon to touch the case before I touch it…
