    Thanks, Dave. You were right. The base had water in it. The float valve thing was a bit calcified and so wasn’t moving freely. It was therefore overfilling a bit each time into the base. Emptied the base, cleaned it up so the float moves freely and it no longer overfills. Now works fine.

    Thanks guys! I will get one of those ASAP, fit it, and report back.

    Unfortunately, we bought the control module board ourselves. The guy offered to buy it, but for £60 more than we could buy it privately. Ah well, live and learn.

    Thanks once again. I’m actually excited to try the impeller jug and see what happens! 🙂
