    Re: Indesit IDL700 2 & 4 Flashing

    Hi again,

I’m contemplating replacing the heating element on the assumption that whilst it measures ok that it’s old and caked up and so isn’t performing to specification and so isn’t heating the water enough…

    It’s a theory!

Do you happen to know if the part is identical between IDL700UK and IDL700UK.2?

I can find the spare part for IDL700UK but not the .2

    Cheers!

    Richard/

    Hi,

Well, I’d never spotted the serial number on the side of the door. Wish I had, as it is actually a IDL700 UK.2

    S/N – 42003022
    37341180000

I’m guessing I’ve put in a wrong (incompatible) PCB?

Doesn’t explain why the fault was there before I replaced the PCB though…

    Hmmm.

    Richard.

    Thanks again.

Where is the serial number located?

    Richard.

    Hi Iadom,

    Many thanks for your response.

I believe it is an IDL700UK – not a .2 – but I say this only based on what is titled on the machine itself.

The PCB I put in was a C00143206 (I believe it to be a like-for-like swap – but I might be mistaken? It looks identical, for what it’s worth!)

The DW does have the L shaped heater in the base. I put a multi across it and I seem to recall it measuring approx 30 ohms which I thought to be ok?

    Any advice gratefully received!

    Richard.
