ParticipantRe: Bosch Electric Hob turning itself off
Thank you both for the advice. Not gonna be able to shift the oven on my own, will have to wait until I can get some muscle round!!
Will check my pans too and try that tip.roadrunner87

Thank you, where can I find an ENR number? I have access to the hob surface and the only things written on it are ‘BOSCH’ and ‘CERAN SCHOTT 62717001’?
Those numbers I initially posted just came from the manual which had different types of hobs and codes next to them.roadrunner87

Thanks for the suggestion, how would I check the ventilation?
Update: Today had one pan on the go. Was ok for a little while then it started beeping and flashing ‘E’s on the control panel. In the manual this means something is pushing on the control pad or on the plates (like a hand or a pan overflow). Nothing had moved though. I was still waiting for the water to boil and was no where near the surface? Once I got the beeping to stop, I got it back on again but this only lasted a few minutes before it did the usual ‘h’ and cut out on me. However after a few minutes I managed to get another plate to turn on whilst the other was cooling down?
I’m genuinely stumped!! Can’t work out what the common factor with this issue is. Driving me crazy!?
