    Re: John Lewis JLAFFS20071 Error

    Hi
It says made in Mexico , the pcb is a Electrolux . I can’t find a munufacturer name though.

I wanted to update some testing I have been doing yesterday.

So when the “ E / F “ appeared again yesterday I tried twice in a row to do a power reset believing the pcb my be faulty, and the error stayed.
I then reset the lcd buttons inside the fridge followed by a power reset believing the internal lcd pcb may be faulty, twice the error stayed.
Finally I opened the freezer door and exactly where the fan sits I used a closed fist and gave it a gentle but decent thump followed by a power reset and it instantly started working again.

Apron 8 hours later when the error occurred again I repeated the above steps exactly , and the results were exactly the same.

This morning appox 8 hours later when the error occurred again I repeated the above steps exactly , and the results were exactly the same.

Now that I am confident the fan inside the freezer is getting stuck I will try skip all steps except the thump to be sure.

This will take all day to get results but I am thinking a new sensor and fan motor is required.

    Will post back soon
