Re: AEG oven preference stop working
I have exactly the same problem with my AEG Competence.
It is about 12 years old. AEG will not advise me as they say it is obsolete.
It cuts out eratically, sometime just as it starts up, sometimes afer an hour or more of cooking. Fan, heat and light go off, it can sometimes start itsself up again.
Sometimes it works perfectly, other times it cuts out again and again. Banging the door closed can restart it. I checked inside the control panel and it all looks ok, but it’s a spaghetti feast in there.
Any thoughts? This model doesn’t seem to have a cut out switch which other AEG oven seems to, judging by the spare parts section of their website.
I’m at a loss. I’ve checked the electric connection.
Is there any genius out there who can advise??
