    Many thanks. Guess no choice than a full room heat or change the appliance. Climate ratings are rarely made apparent to the consumer. Adverts are often wrong & misleading. Retailers have units rated across the whole range (some sn, some n, some sn-t, some just t. Samsung customer service staff seem to be unaware of these ratings and give innacurate info. I am being offered a replacement to an SN rated appliance or money back but I can’t find an equivalent model. The G-series is ideal for me but rated N. Cheers

    I do appreciate your quick response. I guess its not the answer I wanted ! Not wishing to contradict your advice but merely to try to understand the issue – clearly the sides, in theory and insulated panels need no heating so I am trying to understand why SN rated units are able to operate in a lower temperature environment. If I better understand I hope to install minimal heating if possible.
