    Re: Wine Cooler Repair

It’s a few years old and has been transported on its side a few times – looks like a trip to the dump is needed.

Bump, second thermostat keeps clicking off – is it safe to replace that too?

Trip circuit breaker means an earth leak so probably the heating element/s need checking (with a Megger preferably).

The trip circuit seems to be a one off, think the fact my Mrs had everything in the kitchen on the same time may have had something to do with it 😆

Would you recommend changing the next thermostat? Or getting someone in?

    Hi there,

There’s two thermostats – one with red wires and one with purple. It was the red one that was the nuisance so I replaced that with the uprated thermostat as advised and everything seemed fine for a few washes/drys.

The thermostat with purple wires is now tripping – and when I reset that the switch in my fuse box trips!

Should I replace that thermostat too with the uprated one?

    Any advice much appreciated.
