Re: Bosch WAS28461GB/07 stopping mid hot wash

Good idea. I haven’t done that yet, because as a test today I decided to run a hot (60°c) wash and it did the usual shut down half way through.
This time I left it, whereas before I intervened.
It actually resumed after about an hour without me doing anything.
Is it possible that the warmer washes are causing a thermal cut-out somewhere to cut in, which then resets once the temperature drops?
This fault has only happened since the warmer weather we’re having, which may support the thermal cut-out theory? Or I could be talking nonsense…
    Any input welcome!

    Thanks for those suggestions.
I’ve tested the element and it measures 26.8 ohms, and the NTC measures 4.71 on the 20k setting (I think this means 4710 ohms). This reading fell when I held it in my palm and warmed it up.
    Are these about right?

    Excellent. Thank you very much.
After it blew, I turned the dishwasher off and then turned it back on to reset the machine and drain the water.
Will that have done any damage?

I can’t work out how to edit my post…
I forgot to add that after the bang happened, the machine continued to work as normal and the electric didn’t trip at any point.
