ParticipantOk, no worries. After much more poking and prodding and getting little of the blockage out, we’ve only managed to improved things a little so we’ve caved and my wife has ordered a mid to higher end Bosch serie6 model that was a good price.
miele was tempting, and we would have gone for it had they still offered the long warranty that I’ve had in the past but Bosch will have to do. Local repair guy does Bosch and rates this as repairable as well, so if the worst happens at least in 5 years time at least we’ll be able to mend the thing.
never buying AEG/Electrolux again. The unrepairable design of the condenser being part of the drum is crazy.
Thanks all!

Participantthat’s pretty much what our local repair guy said. He tried, and has improved things but what a stupid design. Can’t beleive I’m going to scrap a machine that’s fine other than some fluff blocking a channel that’s impossible to get to 🙁
Wish I had an airline – try to blast the crap out 🙁

Participantshould have said, no fault codes. Fan, temp sensors, heating element, humidity sensor all check out fine. It’s just blocked up and hardly any air can get circulate 🙁
