    Thanks for suggestion! Removed the larger of the two pumps but it ran smoothly. Haven’t inspected the smaller one yet but will do. Could it be possible that a water inlet valve hasn’t opened and the smaller pump is running dry?

    Hi Dave! I seem to have lost our last two communications. I’m not up to speed yet with this forum.
    You suggested the way to get energy to the fan by resetting the clock. Before doing this I connected the fan directly to the mains. It turned, but somewhat reluctantly and very slowly. It is also a little stiff to turn by hand.
    Do you think that this problem with the motor could have caused further problems with the system or should I just go ahead and order a new fan?
