Thanks iadom,
yes, I think the inner drum could be bit looser than what I remember but still turns manually, or slowly if put in spin cycle but then trips before speeding up. If drum support has fractured is that still repairable? If parts would be expensive, Would it be worth trying one of the fixed-fee repairers such as repaircare?November 21, 2013 at 9:26 pm in reply to: fault code 3 flashes Indesit 12x WD /Belling SGE12x W/D #404980russukarian

Thanks for your reply and help. Really appreciate it. I Read the Indesit fault codes via link you sent me! Am I right in assuming that my Belling SGE12x W/D is identical to an Indesit 12x w/D and will fault codes then be same?
If so then 3 flashes = NTC faultCan you based on your knowledge and experience understand how this would tie in the original symptoms …….
it was finishing the 30 deg C wash cycle, in the final fast spin before finishing and we suddenly heard a loud bang. Luckily as it was very near end of final spin the drum had already drained and we could just turn off then open door and take out the washing.
Had a quick look and set it empty just to spin cycle on the dial, started up ok drum turning at slow speed/low gear, then just trips and does not accelerate and the dial just starts turning also GET 3 Flashes on red light. How can this relate to thermistor problem?
Thanks for your time, from a fellow Lancashire lad from Blackpool.

sorry my original post has a typo…..should read…..
” Had a quick look and set it empty just to spin cycle on the dial, drum starts up ok turning at slow speed/low gear for about 10 seconds, then just trips and does NOT accelerate to faster speed and the control dial just starts turning also GET 3 Flashes on red light”. Any ideas as to what fault could be?
Thanks in advance for any help.November 19, 2013 at 7:17 pm in reply to: Belling SGE12x (uk) integrated washer/dryer 3 flashes #404820russukarian

PS, I believe after reading around that Belling may just re-badge these and it’s identical to an Indesit wd12x.
By the way, the Belling SGE12x washer dryer is integrated/built in and has a matching unit door and front plinth attached that has to be removed prior to trying to edge it out from under the counter. I am disabled and my wife and I my not be able to pull it out. I believe the fixed fee repair Companies like repaircare etc will not do this and expect the appliance to be pulled out completely or will not touch it.
Any advice will be really appreciated. -
