It says 30 ohms resistance across live and neutral on the heating element.
    100K across live and earth.

i am pretty sure it takes in cold water, no?

Hi Dave, sorry was having a bad day.
If I set any programme that’s 30° or less, it works. I know this because the fast wash works fine and it doesn’t allow me to set more than 30°.
It works as in it works fine. Washes, rinses, dries and stops as normal.

I tried setting cotton 90°, it takes cold water in, the cycle starts spinning slowly. Left for few turns and right for few turns. Then I think it heats up. and left for few turns and right for few turns. It heats up and I know this because I opened the door and touched the water inside. Also, the meter reading is unto 2000w consumption at that time.

I am suspecting if the water doesn’t go up to 90°, it will keep doing this indefinitely and never go to the next stage of the cycle, if my explanation makes sense.

Now, I don’t know how to check if the machine works fine and heats upto 90°. Would you suggest running a full cotton cycle for 3 hours, and see if it does what it needs to do?
