Re: Bosch WAE2416SUK smells of urine

We had the same problem with our ISE havign never had the problem before with any machine. We were using eco friendly liquids and no hot was or machine cleaner stopped it. Clothes smelled of it as well, and needed hours on the line to freshen up.

Switched back to powder and it’s been fine ever since. I think we did put a couple of hot washes with bio liquid through, that has enzymes in it which I think are supposed to eat away the smelly stuff.

Now on asda eco powder or Surcare and no problems.

Because it was still washing fine !!

I had an AEG which was surprisingly noisey not long after it was bought, but a second which stayed quiet for years.

Scottish Bank holiday ? Brilliant !!

Don’t worry, I’m not about to take it apart. Had some success with an old Hotpoint but won’t touch anything under warranty.

Aye, phoned this morning, Both ISE and supplier closed til Monday, no surprise really.

Am holding off asking local washer repair man until I find out how long it’s going to take them to come round. Washing machines are inconvenient things to break down.

Took the lid off, can move the drum from side to side and it doesn’t spring back, I expected it to self centre ?

bit annoyed about the warranty, bought the 5 year one but on reading it it doesn’t cover things like weights and suspension legs.

Assumed the warranty would be as good as the principles behind the machine – low cost, worry free. My supplier is in Arbroath, 2 hours drive away, he’s going to cost a fortune just to come and look at it.

only decided last night that it really wasn’t an unbalanced load when it left a spoonfull of sand on the flor after I’d fought it to a standstill and managed to turn it off.
