They quoted 230€ for the glass….which I assume wouldn’t have included labour.

The model number is: ACM818/NE and I can’t find the 12nc number – could it be the equivalent of the SN ? If so then that is SN901742003123.

Out of interest would water on the hob cause this problem? I didn’t have any but I’m now terrified of anything boiling over!!
