As the fridge is 10 plus years old in my opinion it would be better to purchase a new one.
If you replaced the compressor then the other parts are over ten years old could give problems later.
Plus other things to consider are why did the compressor fail was it just age or was there a blockage in the system or a refrigerant leak.
You also need to factor in the cost of the food if the repair did not last long if it failed due to a blockage or leak.
I would put the 140 euros towards a new one.
