    Hi,

Sorry I didnt come back to confirm fix for dishwasher, it was the control pcb.

I honestly didnt think it would fix it, cos there where no signs of damage and all components tested okay.

But there you have it, you guys rock !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank for all your help and saving me the dreaded Indesit call out charge 🙂

    Thanks so much !!!

Flybrick – check the heater element is okay, i have just disconnected both wires to the heater assembly and the lights flash 1 + 4, might be that your heater assembly has blown

Just a thought, I’m no expert, just what I’ve personally found whilst tyring !!! to fix mine

    Thanks

Massive thanks for confirming wires Chris 🙂

I definitely think I’ve no other option than replace the pcb, I’ve checked

    1. the heater – measure 27 ohm.
    2. the thermostat
    3. metered all the wiring
    4. replaced the relay on control pcb and gone over all solder joints
    5. tested all componets and all seem okay, but cannot test the chipset, although there is no sign of damage on the ic’s and definitely no burnt connecters, etc.
    6. tested heater circuit (heater / thermostat) from the control panel (pink wire to door switch and pink wire on fts2 – this measures 27ohms, so conforms wiring okay, etc…

    So…….

Looks like I’ll have to order the pcb and keep my fingers crossed. I dont like spending unnessarily.

I cannot thank everybody enough for all your help !!!

    Thanks Scooter

    Re: Indesit DI620 – Please help 🙂

    Hi,

    Me again 🙂 LOL

Just got around to having another look at this fault, I was stripping down the dishwasher to get to the control pcb when the dishwasher fell forward, not a problem apart from the pink and blue wires going to FST1 and FST2 came off and I’m not a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} what was connected to where.

I’m assunming that the pink wire that goes down to the heater assembly goes on FST2 and the Blue wires goes to FST1.

Can somebody please verify this for me????

Hope you can help me 🙁

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’ll check the wiring tomorrow, what do you mean by safety stat fault??

I spoke to Indesit this evening, the guy on the helpdesk said I should check the release solenoid, where is this situated ??? or is this a red herring to throw me?

I really cannot thank you enough for all your help.

I feel like pulling my hair out, it makes it worse being an intergrated unit, I have to strip down the cupboard to pull it out each time 🙁

    Thanks

    Hi,

I cannot thank you enough for your help with this fault.

One question, I’ve taken the board out for inspection, I’ve tested all the diodes and transistors, there is no sign of any damage to any components or bad solder joints, everything I tested seemed okay, do you still think it could be the board, also none of the ic’s showed any sign of damage.

I just dont want to send for a board if there is any other option that it could be.

I’ve tested the heater element, that show 27 ohms, so good
I’ve tested the Thermostat, that also reads fine
    and

    The board as explained above.

I know its hard because without you seeing it, but is that flashing 4 a heat fault. The water still doesnt get warm.

What should be the next move, order the pcb???

Massive respect as stated earlier for your help

    Hiya,

Thanks for reply, the serial number of the machine is

    60428 3644

There is a number to the left of the serial number, which is

    37303510900.

Where is the PCB located in the dishwasher, do I remove all of the screws around the metal work inside the door ??

Is it a thermistor that blows, what I mean is it something I could repair myself or is it a pcb change?

To confirm the pcb is defective, is there a way of testing the board or is it just a change and see ??

Sorry to ask alot of questions 🙂

Massive respect for your help 🙂

BTW – I do agree about the tip, I wont buy Indesit ever again !!!

    Thanks
