Thanks Dave, hotpoint customer services have been the usual chocolate teapot of usefulness. I have managed to get a free returns label but have yet to manage to get a new PCB sent out (want the new one before I return so they can’t send the same one back!). Did have an interesting argument about how a ‘10 year parts warranty’ is only applicable if I book a repair which coincidentally costs around the same as the part.
Can tell you where any future white goods won’t be bought from!
