On the 2M its black prong on live+neutral and red on back casing and reading point.558 hows that good or bad?

Mmmmm, ok apparently the dryer has a leaky earth? according to the electrician that tested it, so using google one prong on the earth prong of plug and the other on the metal back frame of dryer and meter on Ohms, am i right so far? but which Ohm settiing 2M, 200k, 20k or 200, and which readings should i be getting for good and bad?, i should also point out at my house the dryer could run for a month solid and not trip but at there house it trips in every socket? I should add ive changed the plug for a brand new one, instead of the plastic sealed type
TiaSo , it looks like it was a slightly overheated/burnt connector as in the pics (the black box) i still cant see the mains filter though???

cheers but i think its past saving new one ordered –superglue as a key saving exercise isnt a good idea im beginning to think
Quick report, both fans are ok/clean, front ntc reacts fine temp changes, has he correct heater and 2 new thermostats., one is red, other is thicker and beige will check wih infra red thermo he heat of the dryer
Thankyou, my keyboards gone fauly on me lol but yes a lot to ponder, i do like he idea of the fan, blocked, fyi , it was the whole heater unit was changed, ill digest , all the info and report back, thanks so much
