    Fair enough. I was picking up on the post from “Demolition Dave” who claims that they can be “dug out of the foam” and replaced for approx £15. However, a week on and my fridge freezer seems to be maintaining both units at a sensible temperature, so I’ll live with it for now. Thanks again for the forum, your time and support is appreciated. 😀

    Hi, this topic was a great help, thanks chaps! 😀 I have the same problem with my KGV 2604GB/05. I’ve shorted out the dodgy sensor which has got it working again, but would like to replace the faulty part if poss. I can’t find it listed on the Bosch support site…also, any advice on how to get it out of the foam? whereabouts is it, relative to the control panel? Incidentally, I read somewhere that the working resistance range of these sensor is 10KOhms to 50k. My faulty one reads 100k. 😕
