Rob,
i too have a Beko and recently the fridge seems to not get colder then 9degrees and thus food goes off and the red light keeps flashing. Mine makes gurgling sounds now and then…though the compressor doesnt ever seem to switch off.
Does this sound similar to your problems?
When you got a quote…did the engineers just quote over the phone or did they come and assess the unit? was the quote free? Where did you get the engineers contact details from?
many thnks

apologees if i sound silly asking this…but what is the definition of a system fault???…does it mean an electricle issue with the circuitboard??..is it an easy fix for the engineer? Just trying to get to grips with what it means.

apologees…this was a generic question but if you can recomend something specific….even better!!! Model number is Beko CGA 9756. Has a concealed evapourater in the fridge section. Freezer pipes were fine with bit if solid ice when freezer panel was removed.
thanks

ParticipantRe: ?? whats a thermistor do ??
thanks for that KWATT. That explains what a general thermister does and how to check its functioning correctly….anyone know how its used in my fridge freezer combo and whether it could be contributing to the warm fridge problem !!KWATT says it reports back the current temp…but my fridge freezer display only shows the fridge temperature (not freezer temp) so what could this thermister be doing in the freezer and could there be another in the fridge causing problems(which isnt accessible!!)?
