Thanks for your reply Martin – I am not sure what I am referring to, catalytic liners?? I put this gel all inside the oven – the sides, base and roof, the gel absorbed and turned white (I guess a protective coating non stick for easy cleaning) – after realising my mistake and cleaning everything off, there are patches all over the oven inside. Looks as if someone has attacked it with a sander!
Do you think it is safe to use at all, given that I did all the sides and not just the base (which could have been rectified). Or do you think it is safe to use, but will be a nightmare to keep clean now.
Oh yes, my husband pointed out the instructions on the gel box afterwards, say no more…
I would be interested in your opinion – thanks.
