    Thanks very much Martin for that I will test them and see what I get. Can I buy the elements through this website?

    You are right in that they can be undone from the inside quite easily. what kind of reading should I expect to get if I put a megger on the element.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I removed the panel and checked the elements and they look ok, can I put a meter on them from the back to check them.
