    Re: Samsung rsh1rdbs

    Hello again.
Sorry it’s been a while but I have been busy.
I would just like to say thankyou for your help and advise. Bryan you were bang on mate, without the solenoid we couldn’t chose which type of ice.
All is up and running and that is down to you.
    Thanks again
    Cheers
    John

Hi, again. I have taken the top panel off and found the blown fuse. I am a little concerned as it says on the cover that you are not to replace a fuse, but you should replace the whole board after the fault is rectified.
I think Bryan that you have hit the nail on the head. You say that you stock the solenoid, but do you stock the fuse and or board?
Also how much do I owe you 😉
    Cheers John

Also r600a. Are you saying that the dispenser assembly will be ok to use?

    Thanks Washman,

So its not full of pasta sauce then 😆 . Could it be some other type of cut off device like a float switch or something? If so where abouts are they located?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Thanks for your reply Penguin45,

What I forgot to add was, if I let go of the button, after the water has been pumped out, the program carries on until the next time it needs to evacuate the water. Is it the same pump that pumps the water around the machine as drains it? Also is there a way to reset the dishwasher? Looking from the right hand side, there is a cylindrical chamber on the right of the sqaure salt chamber with stuff in it. Is this normal, a filter or something?

    Cheers,

    John.

    Re: Siemens fridge/freezer help please.

Just thought i should let you know that i have found the answer i was looking for. As i said my wires were different. With the model i have (dont ask me which couldnt be bothered to empty it and pull it out of its tight spot to read the serial number), all i had to do was to short out the large black wire with the small brown wire right next to it. These wires were on the right of the pcb attached to a white connector. I have only just done it but the results look good. I found the answer at http://www.reviewcentre.com/Hope it helps someone else.

    thanks John 😀

    Re: Siemens fridge/freezer help please.

I have a bosch fridge freezer and it sounds like i have the same problem. When i removed the top panel to look for the wires it looked different to what has been said in the forum. On the left hand side of the pcb i have a grey, blue, black, and white wire. On the right i have a dark brown, light brown and a black.
I do hope someone can help me with this problem i feel so close to fixing it. 😀

    Thanks John
(Id post a pic of it if anyone can tell me how)
