Re: Help! My Service 1100rpm washer/drier has died

HEY GUYS!!! Thanks loads (washing machine loads 😀 ) for your help and suggestions. I have just accidentally found the fault!! It is the the door switch. I waggled the door around (a plastic, flimsy thing), and suddenly, all started working again 😀 Quite what wil happen when it gets to the end of the cycle remains to be seen. Best wishes all, from Nev

Thanks for advice, Andy. Mike, I opened the hinged plastic flap on the bottom right hand corner of the machine (there’s a plastic screw-in thing behind it) – the only number on the back of the plastic flap is 2/2, seems too short to be a model number? It’s next to a triangle (British Kite Mark, I think), with >ABS< underneath. Am I looking in the right place? Thanks, Nev
