As you can see from the delay in my reply, time’s moved on
The intermittent fault became permenant and we got an engineer out.He played, umm’d and arr’d and went away. Got a phone call later to say he wasn’t too sure, it was most likely to be the timer or board, or both. Either way barely economical on a 3 year old £199 machine.
Whilst we decided what to do it started working again, initially just draining from one postion on the dial at the and of the wash program, but now it will run through cycles normally!!!!!
Unless someone can through some light on it i guess we’ll ‘make hay whilst the sun shines’ and throw the old girl once it re occures.
