    Re: AEG Santo S3675KA6 resetting

Unfortunately, after two times of asking, it appears that there is no more knowledgeable/experienced person on the forums than myself as nobody was able to offer any opinion on the problems.

I eventually purchased the part (directly from the AEG website) and it arrived next day. The main PCB was only available as an essembly including the box it clips into. It took 10 minutes to change:
remove lower door hinge and door
    unscrew top door pivot
    unclip front panel
    unclip pcb box
    remove 4 plugs from PCB
    reassemble in reverse order.

Job done and it saved a fortune for either a new fridge or an engineer visit.

My fridge is ready to hit the refuse site……

Please make sure to let us know how you get on – I posted what sounds like exactly the same symptoms but got no response.

Since the compressor does run, albeit briefly and doesn’t trip the toc, I don’t understand what would cause the relay on the control board to deactivate/reactivate unless it draws so much current that the voltage drops?

Shouldn’t (1) or (2) cause the toc to trip?
Since the compressor runs, I don’t understand (3)?

Re: AEG Santo S3675KA6 Fridge resetting/tripping

As another clue, the fridge appeared to have worked fine for two days and was happily sitting at +5C according to the display. While I was standing next to it commenting that it seemed to be happy recently, there was a click and when I looked again it was showing +8C. I opened the fridge door, the light came on, went off and came back on again as all the displays blanked. The temperature reading now said +5C again…….
