cheers mate took your advise and ordered the resistors from rs
they’re only a tenner delivered, so ive nothing to lose if they dont cure the problem

just had a look at the rs website penguin and the one you mentioned dosent look anything like it will it still do the same job 🙄 🙄 🙄
